The audit profession has a talent problem — not because talented people don't exist, but because many of the environments they are asked to work in are not designed for their professional flourishing. Long hours without structure, unclear expectations, and work that feels disconnected from meaningful purpose have driven capable professionals away from public practice.

THP is building something different. We are a specialist firm with meaningful institutional clients, disciplined systems, and a genuine commitment to professional development. We do not promise a perfect environment — but we are committed to building one that is considerably better.

If you are an experienced auditor who has grown weary of environments that substitute volume for quality, or a young professional looking for a firm that will take your technical development seriously, we invite you to consider THP.
Six Reasons to Join Our Practice
WHY THP
Meaningful Institutional Clients
At THP, you will not spend your career auditing generic commercial enterprises. Our clients are schools, congregations, hospitals, and foundations — institutions whose work matters. The audit stakes are higher, and the professional experience is richer for it.
Structured Workflow and Process Discipline
We have invested in building a firm with orderly systems, clear communication protocols, and documented processes. You will work in an environment where things are planned and explained — not an environment where chaos is accepted as tradition.
Leadership Exposure
In a specialist boutique firm, the distance between junior professionals and institutional leadership is short. THP professionals gain early exposure to governance bodies, board presentations, and senior management conversations that larger firms reserve for senior staff.
A Healthier Professional Path
We are building a firm where professional excellence and sustainable working conditions are not treated as opposites. We believe that a disciplined, well-managed audit firm can deliver exceptional quality without institutionalizing the dysfunctions that have made parts of the profession difficult to sustain.
Strong Technical Development
Audit quality requires technical depth. THP is committed to providing structured learning opportunities, technical updates, and exposure to complex institutional audit issues that build genuine professional competence — not just hours logged.
Professional Craftsmanship
We take the craft of auditing seriously. The quality of our working papers, the clarity of our communications, and the rigor of our professional judgments reflect a commitment to doing the work well — because that is what the profession, and our clients, deserve.
